New Semester, New Life, New Issac..........

Busy and seldom update recently, but I have been starting my second semester about 3 weeks. In this semester, I will have not much of free time like first semester, and I gotta be work harder. I am taking four subjects now.
Commercial Law- it is really hard, because not only examine your english ability, NZ history, memorizing and speaking as well, I dont know much about NZ and english is not my first language, obviously it is a difficulty for me. But I like it, because I always love challenging, and I have found that it can be very interesting actually
Property(Construction) - about how to build a house, the construction, materials, style and everything about a house and building, it is so much fun because I always have a strong interest about houses)
Geography(Cities and Urbanism) - A study about the significant cities in the world, before studied about ancient cities like Babylon, China, Hindu, etc. Now about the city of the world-Paris, their ideas, architecture, consumption and even fashion and shopping!!! Very soon will study others, and Cyberjaya and Putrajaya of Malaysia as well!!! But for my essay, I probably will write about Hong Kong, hahaha!!!!
Macroeconomics - is always like that, no big interest, so so subject with a so so study.... but also know more about NZ economic recently, always a big fluctuation here recently.
Not only work hard in study, I also work hard for my job. I have already got a job almost 1 month, only a waiter in a restaurant. I can say that I dont really like to work actually, but no money!!! Anyway, it is pretty good because everyone's there treating me really nice, especially the beautiful manager, always call me HONEY!!! hahaha... besides that, it is a United Nations, the owner is Canadian, 3 managers 2 are Kiwis and 1 is Australian, they are some from US, Scotland, Argentina, Brazil, South Africa, Japan, China, India, Fiji, and I am from Malaysia. I am wondering that they are hiring people by nationalities? haha.... Moreover, I drive now, my first time!!! Because I have a friend has a car but no licence =.=". So she asks me to drive her sometimes, I reject initially because this is not my place and it is not my car. However, due to a sudden strong feel want to drive, my first time in NZ has been given to her ~.~...... New semester now, obviously a lot have been changed, closest friends are not here, having meal is not an interesting activity anymore. Almost half of year I have been in NZ, time passes extremely soon, a few more months, I will back to Malaysia. Not sure yet the exactly date, but probably will extend it to December, planning to work and travel here, see u... have 8am class tomorrow....

Waitomo, Taupo, Rotorua 3 days amazing and funny trip......

This trip could be 1 of the best trips I have ever had and the happiest moment since I am in NZ, and this is so much different with what I have ever done before. Before the trip, 6 of us have our own roles for the trip, Barry- Car rental, Issac - Waitomo's activities, Jason-Taupo's activities, Cherry-Backpackers, Ivy- Rotorua's activities. Besides that, Jason & Barry - Drivers for the trip, Cherry & Mila = Chefs of the trip, Ivy & Issac = Dish washing and others stuffs(due to no cooking skill, haha...) It was so different because I have never had own cooked meal in a trip before, never taken a 7 seats car for a trip, never stay in a backpackers before, never plan so much for a trip before(because normally will join a tour)

Day 1
We started our trip at about 9am because waiting for Jason and Barry to get the car, once we see it, we all =.=""", because it is a light green car,, we felt that it was so weird, just like a big turtle running on a highway =.=" However after a long time, we feel comfortable with it because of an outstanding color, so we can easily find out where it is, hehe... Then we started our first 3 hours journey to Waitomo, on the way down, it was so cold and met this long long train with a lot of containers moving with extremely slow speed, =.=" Then we waited for it about 10 minutes only can get through. Soon, we reached over there with much earlier than expected. After having some simple sandwiches for lunch, we went to the company place to start our adventure journey. It is a an adventure tour with 5 in 1 combo, include abseiling, caving, black water rafting, glowworms exposure and rock climbing.

The place that we are ready to go, it is a cliff in a big farm or field, which means if you don't take notice, you won't realize there is a cliff. In the farm, so many sheep there... mek....

We are ready to go now, from left, Mila, Ivy, Jason, Barry, Issac, and Cherry, all are from HK except me.
I am abseiling!!!! Going down now!!!
Hehe... All have been successfully getting down, so proud
Caving here
We were doing black water rafting, i was at the back, so much fun
Lets take a break here

The best picture here, we were looking at the glowworms, like in a universe, so many small and shining planets around us, and it is totally different with the firefly of malaysia, GORGEOUS!!!

I went to a small hole

Turn to another side to get in due to cant breath

Finally successfully got out from the hole, i look so lost!!!

Then, We have to climb the rock to get out from the cliff, about 30 meters high, and only about 5C in the underwater, so cold and get numb. so hard!!!

FINALLY, with a big smile, or forty thousands mouth(sei man hau), hehe...

Dont know who drop into the water, i think is cherry, that housewife, haha....

fungus

The trip was so amazing and about 5 hours were spent, the toughest part was that in the winter time, about only 6 or 7C, we have to get into the underwater cave, so cold till get numb, so challenging. Yeah... and never forgot that wearing the smelly black swimsuits. Then, we got back to our hostel which is located right beside the company, then we can take a rest here instead of going to Taupo immediately. Cherry was the chef on that night and fried Udon noodle and boiled some soup, so YUMMY!!!! we also shared with our house mate and chat with them, because it is a big house with three rooms, 2 were shared by us, there was another NZ couple and a staff of the company but from UK. She told us that she is alone traveling around the world while working, just came from Australia and 2 years have been spent there. She said that she hope to see more and more in her life instead of always working with a boring life. Now, she wants to get around the whole NZ and work here temporary for some traveling cost, she is just so impressive and typically a backpacker.

Day 2
We woke up early today and then started our another journey to Taupo, about 2 hours. This is our backpacker house.

A fist mountain beside highway.A man riding a carriage, like return to the past.Nice paradise..
Once we reached in Taupo, we went to the place for Barry to do Bungy Jump, is was so exciting and so much fun, I hope to do as well but unfortunately it was a bit costly, so maybe next time. The place he was going to jump on, nice view. 1...2 ...3... Go.... Small fly on the lake...
Too scare till no feeling. After that, we went to Lake Taupo to have a look, it is the biggest lake in NZ, it is as big as 1 Singapore(from Jason's lousy knowledge). It was formed a few hundred years ago by a volcanic eruption. Most of the north island of NZ was formed here as well, and it was also recorded in China and ROme History, stated that a huge eruption at the south, SO TERRIBLE!!!
Pigeons standing together..Lake Taupo.. After that, we went to Craters of the moon, it is a thermal area with a lot of white smoke come out, smell sulphur just like egg. We were surrounded by the smoke, just like a in a heaven, amazing.
Four angels here, haha..

Just from anywhere, every part of the grass..
After that, we went to Huka Falls, the discharge capacity of it is the highest in NZ. It is also responsible for the hydraulic power to generate electricity.

Issac and Cherry.. Afterwards, we went to the Prawn Farm to eat the prawns, I have no idea at all why it is so famous and expensive, because the prawns are not that fresh and the sauce is not that yummy as well, I more prefer the Chinese fried prawns, White people just have no idea how to make a delicious food, especially seafood.Nice decoration of the restaurant.
Pretending that the prawns is nice.. =.="
After that, we started our journey to Rotorua, the most famous tourism hot spot in North Island, this place is a combination of recent extreme sports and culture, a must come place for every tourist. It was about 2 hours from Taupo to Rotorua, our first destination is supermarket because another chef, Mila was going to cook that night. But once we got down from the car, the sulphur smell is so strong and it filled the whole town, really have no idea how the residents here can bear this string egg smell.... Then, we went to our backpacker but lost in the city during that moment. Finally, it is a typically BACKPACKER!!! I am really excited with it, backpacker is kind of bed rental with very low price in 1 room, that means you may know many other people who share the room with you. Besides that, bathrooms, kitchen all are sharing, most suitable for the people who travel with a low price themselves. But actually its comfortability is quite good as well. It is something new for me because there are only hotel and motel in Asia country. Then, 5 of us are in a same room, chat and sleep together, so fun.All are busy cooking, the dinner that night was Macaroni soup, fried vegetable and satay sauce with beef. This is our room,5 of us were together, so warm. After having dinner, we went to Polynesian Spa, obviously the spa is the hot water with sulphur smell, but they say is good for skin, of course I will stay there for a longer time, hehe...The spa with a nice view in day time, however we were there at night and cant see anything. But it is already comfortable enough for us, cold weather out there, in hot spa, white smoke around us, chatting with friends, fooling around, I think there is no any other thing which can compare with this... After a hot spa, it made us so tired and hungry, my friend soon made us a supper, baked chicken kidney(with some oil, soya sauce, pepper and salt, done). Honestly I did not know it can be eaten before, but is it very delicious!!! Afterwards, we were back to room, chatting while looking at the pictures. It was so warm, I just could not describe in words, but you will definitely understand me, friendship is appreciable. Good nitez.... Jason felt asleep within 1 minute, =.=" amazing

Day 3
After having breakfast, we have no idea where to go due to bad weather, kept raining the whole day, so just driving around have a look. This is the Rotorua Museum, symbol of Roturua, but actually its predecessor was the governor spa house. NZ just have a lot of Museums and Art Gallery, cultured people =.=" Can you see me? I am right at the middle. Soon, we just went to the i site(Tourism Information Center of NZ, you can find it anywhere and get anything you would like to know, so convenient for everyone to travel, this is the key of the successful tourism of NZ) to know what can we do in this bad weather. Finally, we found that there was a cheap combo to play the luge and skyswing, so Barry, Mila, her bf and I decided to go over there to play it!!! Cherry, Jason and Ivy went another way to see the Sheep Show, it was a show to see 19 sheep stars on the stage to eat the grass, the people cut the wool, the herdsman and the sheepdog look after the sheep, =.=" gam dou dak? Due to extremely poor weather, I didnt take picture on the hill but can show you some here which got from net, we took this gondola up to the hill and played this luge

, don't ever think that it is easy, because there are a lot of slopes, crooks and slippery due to raining, so it is kinda danger actually. Moreover, no railing along the lane, which means once u fall out from the lane, you will fall down to the hill, =.=" white people have no safety consciousness. After that, we have to take another mini gondola up to the hill, another proof. Besides that, we went to the skyswing, it is a huge swing as shown, will take you up to another pillar, then we have to pull up the break ourselves to release us , or swing us out, so damn scary but SO MUCH FUN!!!! White people are just such daring and creating so much of crazy things. After this, of course we have got wet the whole body and change our cloths to go to final destination, a park of thermal area as well but is free, but look like =.="
My guess, the hands from L to R is mine, cherry, ivy, jason and barry

Sudden paradise in this war area. Finally, it was the end of our trip and we were heading back, a same sentence from us "finally the trip is finished".
Finally, about 3 and a half hours to back to Auckland. On the way, we went through Hamilton Garden where I haven been here before, so just went in have a look again.
Issac, Barry, Ivy and Jason

He is something wrong here, haha..
Gorgeous Indian Garden... Some other nice views on the way back,
Can you see the white dots? they are sheep..

A lot of sheep here as well...

After another half way, we got back to Auckland and bought some pizzas for dinner and have a nice chat, all were just about haw we satisfied with our journey, because they said they did go for traveling for so many times, but the feeling is so much different, much happier this time. It is always the closest friend is the people who stays with you together, talking the same thing, fooling around, getting around with friends is always the best. However, some of them are going to leave soon,
Barry - will graduate and waiting for his graduation on September, then will back to HK.
Cherry- is an exchange student and is gonna leave next Friday(before my b'day, ~.~)
Ivy- will be graduated after next semester
Jason-1 more year to go
Issac-due to many people gonna leave, I think I most probably will move out next year as well.
However, I really appreciate for these friends, because I when I am new here, they are the first people who talked with me, taught me alot. You have to know that alone being in overseas is always not an easy task, moreover I am in this hall alone, thanks for them. This is the first trip we have ever had, but it is also the last trip for us. Anyway, I will remember every moment we spent together, and the phrases you all speak the most.
Barry = 好弱啊!! hou yiok a(we speak the most in our trip)
Cherry = 祚死你啊!! zok sei nei a (her goal is marry with a good husband)
Jason= 啦!你知唔知點解呢樣野系甘啊?(always telling others about the things that he knows)
Ivy = still can catch it even now
Issac = hea hea 聲啦(I didnt realize before)
I have no idea how to combine all as Barry said, but I will remember anything you guys have ever said, Cherry, I know you are reading my blog, miss you since you are gonna leave soon, mybest friend in Auckland, bye....
Happy ending......
